Pabau 2 calendar will show blank for 1-2 hours, please use the iOS application.
  • Update
    Update
The issue with the calendar has been resolved. All appointments are now showing in the Pabau 2 web app which is now back fully operational. As mentioned in a previous update; we have also deployed signifciant upgrades to the calendar code and have seen a speed increase of 3700% on our month view load and an upgrade on day view which is now roughly 90% faster. Although incidents like today are extremely rare - we cannot stress enough how important it is to download the mobile application Pabau Go - it runs on a totally isolated environment and full clinic operations were available via the app/pabau app with restricted calendar. If you have not already done so please urgently download the app: and advise any user of the app to complete the following academy course: We take incidents like this very seriously and the upgrades we have implemented today, as well as being able to isolate the calendar and have all other areas of Pabau working are part of our overall infrastucture and BCP plans, we would encourage all users of Pabau to ensure they also have an up to date BCP which includes being able to revert to our Pabau GO application in these rare situations, as it handles all key customer flows, as well as allows you to process payments in the event the web app is inaccessible for anytime. Thank you for your understanding Pabau Team

The deployment is in progress, however due to extended quality checks it is taking slightly longer than expected, we hope to be able to re-enable all appointments within the next 30 minutes or so.

As mentioned in all below updates: Please download the app to access the calendar: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/pabau-go/id1057335634

All other aspects of Pabau are working via Desktop/Laptop via app.pabau.com

  • Update
    Update

The fix to allow calendar entries to show on the web app has failed an internal test and must be redeployed. We expect this to take a further 45minutes - the calendar remains restricted for this period.

With situations like this - we always look at where we could do better and it has been identified that our calendar was causing the slowness that we have seen today; therefore we have taken the opportunity to deploy some upgrades that we had been working on resulting in:

A speed increase of 3700% on our month view load.
and an overall upgrade of 90% faster for day view.

The effects of the significant upgrade to the calendar will be live with the fix which will allow us to resume the calendar to full functionality and show all appointments.

On a positive note: we have seen 90% of our clients download and use the mobile app to ensure they have access to and the feedback has been this has been very helpful to:

    View appointments

    Book appointments

    Reschedule appointments

With this, and all other functionality working via app.pabau.com - we hope we have limited the impact, but of course we apologise for the issues unreservedly and hope you will enjoy the upgrades that we will push shortly.

We are on track to be able to bring the calendar view back in the web version of Pabau 2, in around 45 minutes or so.

As a reminder, your live calendar can be viewed and appointments can be booked via the ios mobile app, which is an isolated environment and is suggested to use as a backup in the event of any slowness with Pabau 2. https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/pabau-go/id1057335634

For the next 1-2 hours Pabau 2 calendar will appear empty - this is nothing to worry about and all data is in the database. This is due to the calendar being taken offline to resolve the slowness. We expect to get the calendar fully operational within the next 1.5hours. Please use only the iOS app for viewing appointments and booking appointments: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/pabau-go/id1057335634

All other parts of Pabau 2 are operational via app.pabau.com.

  • Update
    Update

We have had to temporarily disable the Pabau 2 calendar which has been identified as causing the slowness across the application.

As this has been disabled all other aspects of Pabau will work via app.pabau.com ->

You can still access view and use your Calender to make bookings via the Pabau GO app, please download and use the mobile application here: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/pabau-go/id1057335634
